FAQS
Metal faced letters offer the premium look of solid metal at a more affordable price. They are significantly lighter, making installation easier and more versatile. Additionally, because they use a metal veneer over a sturdy core, they can achieve a similar level of durability while reducing costs. They also provide more flexibility in mounting options and can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Yes, metal faced letters can be used outdoors if they are properly sealed and constructed with weather-resistant materials. High-quality adhesives and coatings help protect the metal veneer from environmental damage. However, solid metal letters may be a better option for extreme weather conditions, as they offer enhanced durability against prolonged exposure to moisture and UV rays.
Yes! Metal faced letters come in various fonts, sizes, thicknesses, and finishes to match different branding and design needs. You can choose from brushed, polished, or painted metal surfaces, and some options allow for additional textures or oxidation for a unique, aged look. Logos and custom shapes can also be fabricated to enhance branding efforts.
Common metals used for metal faced letters include aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, and stainless steel. Aluminum is the most popular due to its lightweight nature and resistance to corrosion. Stainless steel offers a sleek, modern look, while brass and bronze add a timeless, classic appeal. These metal finishes can be brushed, polished, or oxidized to create different visual effects.
We have some of the fastest manufacturing times in the industry and in most cases our Plastic and Metal signs can be manufactured in 8 – 12 Working Days. But some materials, like our Injection Molded Plastic, can be made in 2 – 4 Working Days. Some signage like highly custom signs or Lighted signs can take up to 14 – 18 Working Days.
To maintain metal faced letters, regularly wipe them down with a soft cloth and mild soap to remove dust and grime. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads that could scratch the metal veneer. For outdoor signs, occasional waxing or applying a protective sealant can help preserve the metal finish and prevent oxidation.
