Backlit (halo-lit) letters create a softer glow behind the letter — elegant for lobbies and upscale interiors. Front-lit channel letters push the light outward, which means stronger visibility from the street and in high-ambient-light environments. If your location is on a busy commercial corridor, a parking lot, or anywhere signage needs to compete with surrounding light, front-lit signage wins on readability. For interior lobbies where the effect matters as much as the output, backlit is often the better call.
Can you match our exact brand colors?
Yes — provide a Pantone number and we'll spec the acrylic face and painted returns to match. If you only have a hex code or a printed sample, share it and we'll get as close as the acrylic color palette allows. For the metal can itself, paint is matched to your specs. If you have an existing vector file (.AI, .EPS, or .PDF), we can match your font and logo exactly. Files that aren't in vector format can usually be converted for $20–$40.
Are front-lit channel letters built for outdoor use?
Yes — fabricated channel letters are weather-rated for exterior applications by design. For coastal locations, we strongly recommend 316 stainless steel over standard aluminum; salt air accelerates corrosion on lesser metals and 316 is the right call if you're within a few miles of the ocean. How long does it take to receive a front-lit sign?

The timeline covers art review, file prep, fabrication, finishing, paint, and a quality check before the crate leaves our shop. If you have a hard deadline, tell us early. We can't guarantee rush production — it disrupts the build sequence for other orders in queue — but we can work with you on the proof and setup side to not lose days on the front end.
Do you handle installation?
We don't offer in-house installation. Most customers install using a drill, a level, and the full-size paper template we include with every order — it maps your exact hole pattern directly onto the wall. For projects that need a professional installer, we can refer someone local at no markup; billing goes directly between you and the installer. We've shipped front-lit signage to all 50 states and the install process is straightforward for any competent handyman.
What happens if my sign arrives damaged?
Contact us within 5 business days of delivery and send photos — ideally taken before you move the crate. We'll file the shipping claim and coordinate replacement or repair. Photographing any damage on arrival is the most important step; it protects you and gives us what we need to act fast. We handle the logistics; you're not left managing a freight claim on your own.
How does payment work, and can I see a sample before ordering?
Standard orders are paid upfront. For orders over $1,500, a 50/50 split is available — 50% to start, 50% before the sign ships. Government and military customers can use purchase orders. On samples: you can order up to 3 material samples for $20, which includes a prepaid return label. That $20 credits in full toward your sign if you order. If you return the samples without ordering, $10 is refunded — the sample itself is free; the fee covers two-way shipping.
