Our Rusted Steel letters are completely natural meaning that their appearance will change over time – in fact, the letters will likely change color shortly after you install them. We apply a solution during manufacturing that accelerates the oxidation process and begins to rust the letters naturally. The picture to the left shows the difference in appearance the rusting process can take.
Our Rusted Steel letters are manufactured right here in the US in our state of the art facility. We use only the finest raw steel and each letter is hand finished by one of our expert craftsmen. Our Rusted Steel letters come with a lifetime warranty but because of the naturally occurring rust, the letters will continue to oxidize and change color over the years.
We offer over 40+ unique font styles for our Rusted Steel letters but the design possibilities are virtually limitless. We cut our Rusted Steel letters with a high-precision water jet which allows us to cut almost any font style or size. This type of flexibility allows us to offer letters that will fit any design aesthetic or decor.

At LettersandSigns.com we make the install process easy! With every order we include a mounting template and mounting hardware so you’re not guessing where to drill holes or mount the letters. Check out the install instructions below for more details.
Our letters are lifetime guaranteed for interior and exterior usage but they still require some minor maintenance and cleaning to keep them looking great!
Our CorTen Rusted letters will continue to rust and change color over time. We send the letters unfinished without any clear coats or protectants. This allows the letters to continue naturally rust and oxidize over time.
Technically, our CorTen Rusted Steel letters are guaranteed for life, but with a natural rust its obviously impossible to control the finish or color before or after it leaves our warehouse. For this reason, we only warranty the mounting hardware and the structural integrity of our CorTen Rusted Steel letters. We do not warranty the rusted finish itself – again, because its simply uncontrollable and a completely natural process.
